“If we can teach people about wildlife, they will be touched. Share my wildlife with me. Because humans want to save things that they love.”
― Steve Irwin
The purpose of my photography has always been more then just taking beautiful photographs. When people look at my images I want them to feel emotion. I want them to feel compassion. I was to create a human element for these beautiful creatures that we forget that they have. These animals can’t speak. As a photographer I need to be their advocate. I need to tell their story. I need to save their lives.
While your looking through these photos imagine yourself on these journeys. Walking through a forest where little gorillas play. Looking eye to eye with a rhino whose life literally depends on you. Listening to the rumbles and noises as a family of elephant walks past you. So giant, so peaceful. Watching penguins play in the surf and on the ice. Living a life that has such little human interaction. Feel the power of Africa’s big cats and the peacefulness as they spend the day sleeping. Now imagine a world without them…
